So. Are you by nature a patient person? Me neither! In our everyday lives, it's the loudest, most impatient people who often get what they want. But God says patience matters....and thankfully, he's patient with us!
Proverbs 16:32 says, "Better a patient person than a warrior." Huh. God says that the strength of a patience exceeds that of fighting. Maybe because waiting for God is tougher than taking things into our own hands. "Waiting on the Lord" and his timing takes real strength!
Help Sarah not to run ahead of you, God. Give her the gift of patience to align her life with your intentions for her. Amen.
